From heavy-duty towing to extreme hauling, the Ford F-350 is ready for it all. At Nelson Auto Center Inc., we know it can sometimes be hard to know how to go about finding the information you need on a model. That's why we want to take some time to highlight some of the key features and capabilities of this amazing truck!

Performance

The Ford F-350 is built to perform some of the toughest tasks there are around Detroit Lakes, and it shows in the powertrain options at your disposal. The standard option is the 6.2-liter V8 gas engine. This powertrain is already impressive, providing up to 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. With this kind of power at your disposal, you can expect to be able to tow at least 13,100 pounds or carry a payload of 4,060 pounds.

The second option you have is a 7.3-liter V8 gas engine that can produce 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. With this option, you'll get a bit more towing capacity at 14,000 pounds, but the real boost is if you plan to do any 5th-wheel or gooseneck towing, where the capacities jump to as much as 19,000 and 21,000 pounds, respectively.

Finally, we have the beastly 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 turbodiesel engine. Providing 475 horsepower and an incredible 1,050 pound-feet of torque, this is the powertrain you choose when you know you've got a lot of heavy-duty towing ahead of you. Conventional towing sits comfortably at 15,000 pounds, and the gooseneck towing capacity can reach as much as 22,800 pounds with the right configuration.

Interior

While the F-350 isn't built specifically for comfort, it is designed to offer you a travelling office. For example, the available SYNC® 4 infotainment system provides could-based connectivity, allowing Fargo drivers to use voice commands and the 12-inch touchscreen display to get exactly what they're looking for. Whether you need to navigate to the closest gas station, want to listen to a local radio station or just want to relax to the music on your phone, the F-350 makes it easy.

You can get a lot out of your F-350's cabin. The available moonroof can provide a beautiful view of the sky and fresh air as you head to work, and the available dual-zone automatic climate control is here to help you stay cool this summer. You can also pick up a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start system, 8-inch LCD instrument panel, wireless charging pad and so much more.

Exterior

The truck bed of the F-350 comes with tie-down hooks throughout, and the tailgate is both removable and lockable. On top-level trims, Wahpeton drivers have LED box lighting, remote tailgate release and a tailgate step, making it easier to load and unload a full bed.

LED lighting is available all across the F-350's body, including LED fog lamps and quad-beam LED headlamps. You can even pick up auto high-beam headlamps, which can take care of turning your high beams off to keep from blinding oncoming traffic, and then it will turn the high beams back on once the coast is clear.

Trim Levels

The Ford F-350 comes in a wide variety of trim levels, including the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited. The XL trim is a good choice if you're just looking for a solid work truck, but the Limited is packed with luxuries. The Lariat strikes a good balance, but what works for you will come down to personal preference.

We would love to show you more of what each trim level has to offer here at Nelson Auto Center Inc., so don't hesitate to stop by one of these days. We have all sorts of amazing new Ford models for you to explore here in Fergus Falls, and our finance experts are ready to help you find an amazing loan or lease deal on whichever one you choose!
